Broncos pick up fifth-year option for Von Miller

As expected, the Denver Broncos have picked up the fifth-year option on linebacker Von Miller's contract, according to The Denver Post.

After two solid seasons, Miller saw his production drop in 2013. He began the year suspended for six games after trying to cheat a drug test and suffering an ACL tear late in the year. He had 18.5 sacks in 2012.

Miller's fifth-year option is worth $9.754 million and keeps him under contract with the Broncos through the 2015 season.
