Brandon Jennings scores 25, Pistons dominate Cavaliers

Andre Drummond posted his 16th double-double this season, scoring 16 points and registering 17 rebounds, to help the Detroit Pistons pummel the Cleveland Cavaliers, 103-80. The Pistons had no trouble knocking down shots in this one, going 41-91 (45.1%) from the field, including 17-31 (54.8%) from three-point range. Detroit (7-23) has now won back-to-back games after defeating Indiana Pacers on Friday.

Drummond went 8-12, in an efficient offensive performance. Other key players for Detroit included Brandon Jennings with 25 points and six assists, Jonas Jerebko with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Greg Monroe with 10 points and six rebounds. Despite the loss, Kevin Love put up 20 points for Cleveland on 9-19 shooting, including 1-7 from behind the arc. He also added 10 rebounds. Tristan Thompson added 18 points and 11 rebounds and LeBron James finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

In addition to 17.2% from 3-point range, the Cavaliers tallied an eFG% of just 40.9%. They are 1-2 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Pistons, conversely, are 1-2 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.

Cleveland (18-12) couldn't get consecutive victories after beating Orlando on Friday.
