Blake Griffin, Clippers dominate Pistons, 113-91

DeAndre Jordan earned his 10th double-double this season, scoring 16 points and registering 15 rebounds, to help the Los Angeles Clippers dismantle the Detroit Pistons, 113-91. The Clippers had no trouble knocking down shots in this one, going 43-80 (53.8%) from the field, including 12-24 (50.0%) from three-point range. Los Angeles (17-7) has now won eight of their last 10 games.

Jordan went 7-9, in a quality offensive outing. Other key players for Los Angeles included Blake Griffin with 18 points and seven rebounds, and Chris Paul with 11 points and eight assists. On 5-10 shooting (3-5 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 7-7 from the free throw line, Jodie Meeks put up 20 points off the bench for Detroit in the loss. Greg Monroe chipped in 15 points and eight rebounds.

Along with their eFG% of 61.3%, the Clippers connected at a rate of 50.0% from 3-point range. On the season, they are undefeated (9-0) when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Pistons are winless (0-4) when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.

This drops Detroit (5-20) to 0-2 versus Los Angeles on the season.
