Bills promote Heath, Williams from practice squad

The Buffalo Bills elevated cornerback T.J. Heath and guard Keith Williams to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and placed defensive end Chris Kelsay on injured reserve Wednesday.

Heath was signed Sept. 3 by the Bills. The undrafted free agent played in five games for Jacksonville last season. Williams, a 2011 sixth-round draft pick by Pittsburgh, was signed Oct. 23.

The Bills also added offensive tackles Adam Grant and J.B. Shugarts to their practice squad.
