Bengals re-sign WR Tate

Wide receiver Brandon Tate officially re-signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Tate caught 13 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown in 2012, his second season with the Bengals. He also averaged 24.8 yards on 32 kick returns and 8.9 yards on 21 punt returns.

His average of 10.1 yards on punt returns is the best in franchise history.

"Brandon has excellent tools, especially great speed, and he can continue to help is both on offense and special teams," said Bengals special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons/ "He's a hard worker and a good team player. We're glad to have him back."
