Bengals rule out CB Newman

The Cincinnati Bengals ruled out cornerback Terence Newman from playing Sunday night's game at the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a knee injury.

Newman, 35, did not practice this week. ESPN reported that Newman has a sprained MCL.

Outside linebacker James Harrison was the only other Bengal who missed practice Friday. He has an illness and is listed as probable for Sunday's game.

Also, outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict (thigh), defensive end Wallace Gilberry (knee), running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness), safety George Iloka (concussion), wideout Marvin Jones (shoulder) and offensive guard Kevin Zeitler (foot) are probable after practicing without limitations Friday.
