Angels bring back Bill Hall

The Los Angeles Angels have re-signed Bill Hall, the utility player announced via Twitter on Saturday night.

Hall, 33, was released by the team late in camp after struggling to stay healthy.

He will report to extended spring training and then Class AAA Salt Lake.

Hall played in seven games with Baltimore last season, hitting .222. He spent most of the season at Class AAA Norfolk, where he batted .246.

In 11 big-league seasons, he has hit .248 with 125 homers and 440 RBI.
