Fist bumps and cake to Navjot Productions for splicin' together what we were all thinking: Kobe Bryant's(notes) hanging, two-handed, over-the-head scoop shot against the Pistons was so Michael Jordan-esque it hurts.
"It was a lucky shot," Bryant said afterward with a shrug of his shoulders. "I just flicked it up and it went in."

hell, i could find lebron doing the same exact shot and wade doing the same exact shot. but there were no comparison made at that time.
why all this kobe trying to imitate MJ thing bad?
aren't all we trying to imitate the great moves by the great ones? how about that turnaround step by kobe? MJ surely didn't do it.
that just goes to show the lebrons, and the wades of the nba that kobe's the complete offensive package - able to do anything on the court.

He has never been and will never be "Jordan-esque.
Kobe is just now figuring out what Jordan learned in grade school - Basketball is a team sport and a truly great player raises the level of play of his teammates and gets the entire team involved in EVERY game.
Kobe is too selfish to be considered on the same playing field as Jordan.
