Now retired, Blake Griffin reflects on love, and hate, from Pistons fans

Blake Griffin spent a few moments reflecting on his time with the Detroit Pistons and his comments were quite interesting. Speaking on Barstool's “Pardon My Take” podcast on Wednesday a day after he announced his retirement after 14 seasons in the NBA, the 6-time All-Star was asked about his four seasons in Detroit. The conversation began when Dan Katz noted that Detroit, which finished with the worst record in the NBA for the second straight season this year, “hasn't been the same” since he left. Katz then asked Griffin about his 2018-19 season with Detroit in which he averaged 24.5, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists in route to his sixth and final NBA All-Star selection.
