Louis Rees-Zammit: I feel like I am playing rugby when I'm at running back

After training with Patrick Mahomes and the rest of his Kansas City Chiefs team-mates for the first time over the weekend, Louis Rees-Zammit is already talking about “causing damage” on an NFL field. The 23-year-old, who made the shock switch from British & Irish Lions wing to NFL hopeful this year, took part in the Chiefs' first three-day training camp of the 2024 season, running drills with some of the best players in the sport, most notably the three-times Super Bowl MVP quarterback Mahomes. After going through the International Player Pathway (IPP), Rees-Zammit signed a three-year contract with the Chiefs in March, with the lofty goal of making their 53-man roster when the season begins in September.
