NFL draft 2024: WR Cornelius Johnson becomes 13th Michigan player picked, goes to Harbaugh's Chargers

Cornelius Johnson became the 13th Michigan Wolverine selected in the 2024 NFL draft, going to the Los Angeles Chargers in the seventh round (No. 253 overall) on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 receiver will reunite with new Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh. Edge Jalen Harrell was selected by the Houston Texans with the pick before Johnson, setting the program record for most players selected in a single draft. Johnson rarely left the field for Michigan his last four years in Ann Arbor but never eclipsed 700 receiving yards in any season.
