Last Mets player to break camp continues to pass the stress test with a smile

When DJ Stewart hit a 388-foot home run to put the Mets ahead of the Cubs 4-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning on Tuesday, he made sure to look over at Mets manager Carlos Mendoza and smile. Martinez. Mendoza, who described Stewart as having “a cloud on top of him” at the time, would remind him to “smile.”
