Boise State basketball adds NAIA All-American forward Javan Buchanan

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men's basketball signed a talented transfer on Wednesday in former Indiana Wesleyan standout and 6-foot-7 forward Javan Buchanan. Buchanan was named to the NAIA All-American first team this past season after averaging 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per season. The Indiana native shot 51.9% from the field and 35.0% from the three-point line. The newest Bronco has two years of eligibility remaining and has never redshirted. Boise State had four scholarships available following the departures of Roddie Anderson and Chibuzo Agbo. It now has three after signing Buchanan. Buchanan proved to be a big-time scorer at the NAIA level with six 30-point games last year
