One-year-old already has March Madness down

Wesley Sandoval is a 1-year-old from Azusa, Cailf. He also might be the most adorable college basketball fan in the country. Thanks to a YouTube video posted last Friday by Wesley's father, Dustin, the little tyke's priceless reactions to the NCAA tournament can be viewed by the masses. The Sandovals are a UCLA family (here's a shot of the pair at Pauley Pavilion from earlier this year) — but the precious father-son moment captured for all of us to enjoy occurred during the New Mexico State-San Diego State matchup. We particularly love young Wesley's "Be Awesome Today" t-shirt and his Kool-Aid Man-esque shouts of "Oh, yeah!" throughout the :46 clip.

Stepping up

Moving to the pro game, LeBron James and Chris Bosh helped the Miami Heat stave off what would have been the latest disappointing loss for the two-time defending NBA champions. After blowing a 17-point fourth-quarter lead, James hit a driving layup with 11.4 seconds left to break a 91-all tie and Bosh blocked Damian Lillard's attempt to tie as time expired to preserve a 93-91 Miami victory.

Midseason form

Finally, Houston Astros shortstop Jose Altuve made a brilliant defensive play against the Atlanta Braves in Grapefruit League play. The 23-year-old infielder robbed Dan Uggla of a base hit when he reacted quickly to the hard hit ball up the middle.
