Tevin Coleman out with rib injury

Tevin Coleman left the Falcons tilt against the Giants shortly after scoring the first touchdown of his professional career. The rookie was carted off the field with a rib injury. In his stead, second year RB Devonta Freeman stepped up, showing impressive grip and pass catching prowess.

Until we know more about the extent of Coleman's injury, Freeman has the upper hand in the Falcons' backfield.

Freeman didn't put up huge numbers in the game despite a touchdown, finishing with 25 yards rushing on 12 carries and catching four balls for 34 yards.
