Everyone can stop taking team photos now because Lazio already won. The annual tradition of clubs taking a class picture to capture the one day that a given set of players are all together before the inevitable transfers, feuds and injuries that will destroy them often lacks any visual stimulation. Lazio defied that trend by using all of the keys to a great picture that they have at their disposal.
Using the actual Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine as a backdrop? Check. Including their live eagle mascot as a centerpiece? Check. Miroslav Klose? Check. All the photo is missing is Nicolas Cage standing atop the Colosseum in the background and laughing at the sky.
Elsewhere in Italy, Bari took their team photo on a tractor...
Almost, Bari. Almost.
