DTotD: Valencia’s Antonio Barragan sent off for launching David Alaba into the sky

Valencia managed a 1-1 draw against the mighty Bayern Munich despite playing with 10 men from the 33rd minute on. The reason they were a man down for the majority of the match was the reckless play of defender Antonio Barragan, who picked up his first yellow card in the 20th minute and then was sent to the dressing room for sliding through David Alaba with complete and total disregard for health or gravity.

Once Alaba passed through space and time and landed on his neck, he did play on. Valencia eventually scored the match's first goal in the 77th minute, but Thomas Muller equalized in the 82nd to save Bayern from (another) Champions League embarrassment.
