DTotD: ‘New Neymar’ gets ball blasted into his rearend for trying to embarrass opponent

Though Neymar has left Santos, the club's 19-year-old "new Neymar" (real name Neilton) is starting to prove deserving of his nickname. If only in the sense that he's aggravating opponents with his showy moves to the point where they physically punish him for it.

During the second leg of the Copa do Brasil Sub-20 final against Criciuma, Neilton attempted to lob the ball over a defender's head, but the move was ruined by the defender's hand poking Neilton in the eye. Doubled over with his backside facing the pitch, another Criciuma player couldn't resist the opportunity to get retribution for the failed attempt at showmanship by carefully lining up and blasting the ball into Neilton's rearend.

The referee saw the whole thing and promptly showed the offending player a red card. Though Santos lost the second leg 3-1, the aggregate score still finished at 3-3 and Santos won with their lone away goal.
