DTotD: Hoffenheim's Andreas Beck knocks out a cameraman

The operator of a pitchside TV camera at the Bundesliga match between Hoffenheim and Mainz had to be stretchered off and taken to a hospital with a suspected concussion after Hoffenheim's Andreas Beck smashed into him.

Beck barreled into the camera and its operator, sending all three parties to the ground. As Beck himself recovered from the collision, his teammate Sejad Salihovic quickly noticed the cameraman wasn't moving and was the first to rush to his aid. Nearby medical personnel then took over and carried the Sky cameraman away.

You would think a large TV camera would be enough of a shield to protect you from an out of control footballer, but apparently it isn't.

Beck eventually came off in the 87th minute. Mainz won the match 4-2.
