Watch Logan Couture celebrate goal by ‘Kaepernicking’ (VIDEO)

On Sunday, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will attempt to finish off a dream season with a Super Bowl XLVII victory over the Baltimore Ravens. There's a good chance he'll celebrate a 49ers touchdown by displaying his trademark move of "Kaepernicking", which is kissing your bicep. The move has become a fad in popular culture a yearafter "Tebowing" was all the rage, thanks to then-Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow.

On Thursday night, San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture, a noted Buffalo Bills fan, opened the scoring against the Edmonton Oilers in the second period and celebrated by imitating the Bay Area's current favorite quarterback:

Here's a slow-mo angle via Emily Hall:

The Sharks would edge the Oilers in a shootout 3-2 to improve to 7-0-0 on the season.

"Gotta show some love to the Bay Area teams," Couture told NHL Tonight after the game. "Everyone out here who's a Sharks fan is usually a Niners fan as well. Obviously, all of us on the Sharks are rooting for them on Sunday, so just a little shout-out to those guys."

We now expect an NHLer who is a Ravens fans to score sometime over the next three days and celebrate by performing the Ray Lewis dance. Actually, we demand it.
