Video: St. Louis double-root canal; Moore’s celebration fail

The Tampa Bay Lightning didn't have the type of Game 1 loss that's going to spiral them into a depression or hand the series to the Pittsburgh Penguins. But that's not to say their 3-0 defeat didn't have its moments of pain and embarrassment.

Beginning with the pain, here's Marty St. Louis taking a high stick from Penguins defenseman Zbynek Michalek and losing two teeth:

As a result of the play, Damian Cristodero of the St. Pete Times reports:

Just got word, Marty St. Louis had a double root canal after game on the teeth loosened by Michalek's stick to the mouth. No penalty.

Double. Root. Canal. Mama, don't let yer babies grow up to be diminutive hockey players. St. Louis is expected to play in Game 2 on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Marc-Andre Fleury had a strong game for the Penguins, making 32 saves. Among them was this save on a Tampa Bay point shot that Bolts forward Dominic Moore really, really, really thought had gone in.

Really:

Gentlemen, when the big moment arrives, do you ever have a problem with premature jubilation?
