Caleb Herbert scored his first professional hat trick on Saturday night for the ECHL South Carolina Stingrays, which is quite a memorable moment for the former Minnesota-Duluth forward.
Even more memorable? His third goal was such a rocket that it went through the net.
Please consider that this feat is usually reserved for players like Shea Weber, who shot the puck through the net in the 2010 Olympics and could probably puncture space and time with his shot if he tried.
Hebert tallied his trick against the Greenville Road Warriors. He’s on loan to the Stingrays from the Hershey Bears, after being drafted by the Washington Capitals at No. 142 overall in 2010.
