West Virginia makes video urging students to refrain from burning couches
I'm not going to pretend to understand the West Virginia tradition of burning couches after big wins. Every time I hear about it, I'm absolutely baffled trying to think of a reason why anyone involved thinks it's a good idea.
West Virginia wants the tradition to end too. There have been measures taken to stop the celebration, and now the school's student government has made a funny video urging its students to stop burning their couches.
I think it's fair to say, this isn't a PSA we'll see repeated at any other school.
