Jadeveon Clowney as ‘The Freak’ (Video)
Somehow, the attention about Jadeveon Clowney's athleticism continues to grow.
On the heels of the New York Times' profile of him, the South Carolina defensive end will be featured in an ESPN SportsCenter segment on Sunday. The video promo above, titled simply "The Freak," shows Clowney as man who causes nightmares for opponents. (It would be fun to find out just how many coaches and players have had bad dreams about playing against him.)
You certainly can't deny Clowney's strength, speed and talent. But it'll be interesting to see if the inevitable double teams and scheming against him by opposing coaching staffs put a damper on his season amidst all of the hype. What will North Carolina do? We'll find out in six days.
The SportsCenter segment airs during the 10 a.m. ET broadcast.
