Utah unveils all-black uniform, black helmet included
Utah has all-black uniforms, and they are sharp.
The introduction video is a bit intense, but just about everything about alternate uniforms is over the top, so we'll let that slide. Utah has worn black uniforms before, including with camouflage, but the matte black helmets set this uniform apart. It's one of the best alternate looks we've seen all season. In August, Utah announced the helmets would be for its blackout game against Cal on Oct. 27, and be worn periodically throughout the season.
As long as companies like Under Armour (which does Utah's gear) keep trying to outdo each other, we're sure to see a steady stream of interesting uniforms from just about every team. And with every new uniform, the odds increase that we'll see another scene like this (fingers crossed):
