Texas marching band spells out Mack Brown’s name during halftime show (Photo)

During the halftime show of the Alamo bowl in San Antonio, the University of Texas marching band made sure to honor long-time Longhorn head coach Mack Brown in his last game as head coach. In what has been one of the cooler tributes, the band spelled out Brown’s name on the field as they played “The Eyes of Texas.”

Brown has modestly downplayed the fact that this would be his last game, but fans have been showing love for Brown in the weeks leading up to the game. Several signs thanking Brown were seen around the Alamodome for 16 seasons of service.

Even Bevo XIV showed Brown some love.

We’ll see if the Longhorns can pull off a comeback for Brown. They currently trail Oregon 23-7 early in the fourth quarter.
