Texas A&M's 41-38 upset of No. 3 Auburn got a boost before halftime.

While railing 28-17, Auburn lined up to kick a field goal at the end of the first half to cut the halftime deficit to eight points. The result of the play? An 18-point halftime deficit as Texas A&M blocked the kick and Deshazor Everett returned the ball for a touchdown and a 35-17 lead.

While Auburn stormed back in the second half, the blocked field goal proved to be incredibly large. Auburn got within 41-38 with more than six minutes remaining but had two self-inflicted fumbles in the final three minutes, including one near the Texas A&M one-yard-line.

Freshman quarterback Kyle Allen, making just his second start of the year for Texas A&M, threw four touchdown passes in the first half. Allen finished 19-29 passing for 277 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
