Snoop Lion pretends not to know Lane Kiffin when asked about his firing (Video)
It seems like everyone has had a comment about USC firing coach Lane Kiffin, that is, except, for Snoop Lion, who just refuses to acknowledge he even knows who Kiffin is.
TMZ asked Snoop Lion what he thought of Kiffin's firing and Snoop Lion responded: "Who?"
OK, anyone who follows pop culture (or who owns a television or computer) knows Snoop Lion is a huge USC fan. He’s often seen wearing a USC jersey, he’s worked out at USC practices and his son, Cordell Broadus, is a four-star recruit being courted by the Trojans.
But apparently there was no love lost between the Broadus family and Kiffin.
Following Kiffin’s firing last week, Broadus told 247Sports.com that he agreed with the decision to let Kiffin go.
“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like.”
So, it’s no surprise Snoop Lion would pretend not to know who Kiffin is. Tell you what, Kiffin rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but I’m not sure I’d ever want to get on Snoop Lion’s bad side.
