Random offseason tweet of the day: Les Miles and Rob Ryan are a duo

With real games still months away, coaches and players will be tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.

LSU's football coaches' clinic started Thursday night, and the guest of honor was effervescent New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

So, naturally, Ryan and LSU coach Les Miles had to take a picture together. Love the shirt, Rob. Are they a better duo than Drake and Johnny Manziel?

Ryan said it had been about 17 years since he last participated at a clinic. It may be a leap, but his work improving the Saints defense in 2013 might have been a big reason he got invited to LSU's clinic.

If there was ever another coach who would experiment with Miles' pre-game grass-eating techniques, we could see Ryan being the one to do it. He likes to have fun and if it could be a superstition to help the Saints win? Definitely. Though we don't necessarily recommend eating grass, we really don't recommend trying it with the Superdome's artificial turf. It seems like a recipe for stomach problems.
