Navy will have special uniforms for its game against Ohio State in Baltimore on Saturday.
The Midshipmen will be wearing their "Navy Summer Whites." Each uniform is going to be custom to the player, "with each athlete wearing their specific rank on the field, depicted in the shoulder and pant leg design of each uniform" per the release from Under Armour.
Navy's helmets will also be mostly white, much like the special helmets its worn in the past.
Much like Notre Dame's Shamrock Series uniforms, the undershirt has a bold print.
For comparison's sake, here's what the traditional Navy away uniform will look like this year.
These are great looking uniforms. The matte white Navy helmet has been one of the best in college football and it's good to see it return. If Navy upsets Ohio State, these uniforms may become a mainstay this season.
The Midshipmen will also have a special ball for the Ohio State game. It's kind of surprising that designer footballs haven't become a special uniform trend.
