Amba Etta-Tawo has decided to move on from the Maryland program.

Etta-Tawo, a wide receiver, announced on Twitter that he will graduate from Maryland in May and then pursue a graduate transfer for his final season of college football.

“I’d like to thank the University of Maryland for the experience. I couldn’t be more thankful for my time here and all the bonds built,” Etta-Tawo wrote.

Etta-Tawo was a decent contributor for the Terps over the past three seasons, but he never surpassed his redshirt freshman season in 2013 when he had 31 catches for 500 yards and two touchdowns. He added 10 catches for 222 yards and a score in 2014 and also totaled 20 receptions for 216 yards in 2015.

As a graduate transfer, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Etta-Tawo will be able to play immediately for another program in 2016.

Meanwhile, the Terps and new head coach D.J. Durkin have plenty of wide receivers on the depth chart, including D.J. Moore and brothers Levern and Taivon Jacobs.
