Johnny Manziel show he’s human, misses layup during NBA game (Video)
It’s a good thing Johnny Manziel’s nickname is Johnny Football and not Johnny Basketball because layups seem to be challenging for the Texas A&M quarterback.
Manziel and his teammates attended the Atlanta Hawks game as part of the Chick-fil-A Bowl festivities on Saturday night and Manziel was recruited to participate in a layup competition.
Well, what should have been an easy play for the former Heisman Trophy winner ended up being an embarrassment in front of an arena moderately full of fans and anyone with an Internet connection.
After he finally makes the shot, Manziel slams the ball on the court in disgust.
We get that he was upset that he missed the layup – being a perfectionist and all – but have the ability to laugh at yourself. Manziel, who broke his Twitter silence in early December, even tweeted out his frustration.
