Forget the rap, how about a love song for Denard Robinson
Love, exciting and new. Come aboard, we're expecting you.
OK, those are the first few lyrics to the theme song for the Love Boat, but still one of the great love TV show themes of our time. It was an ode to a ship, a ship of love. And in honor of Valentine's Day, we here at the Doc present another ode, this one to Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson.
Sure Robinson doesn't tie his shoes and struggles in the passing game, but that doesn't make Pat Stansik love him any less. He and Ann Arbor-based band Mind's Eyes took to YouTube to spread their love of Denard and all that he does for the Michigan offense.
It makes you feel all warm and tingly on a day like today. Even if you don't have a Valentine, you can always curl up with a picture of Denard Robinson and this song playing in the background (OK, that's a little creepy).
