Ball State plays some volleyball on a hot potato interception (VIDEO)

Some assists should be handed out on this Ball State interception.

Let's try to follow the bouncing ball, which starts when Western Michigan's quarterback does a kinda Tim Tebow jump pass.

Linebacker Travis Freeman gets it started by batting the ball forward. Defensive end Jonathan Newsome has a nice set for defensive tackle Nathan Ollie, who makes the always great big man interception. But the game of hot potato continues when Ollie fumbles. Luckily for Ball State, cornerback Eric Patterson is there to recover. He holds on despite Western Michigan trying to strip him of the ball.

This is the kind of thing that would impress the fellas on "Trick Shot Monday."
