A little handoff from the holder to the kicker? Why not?
That's what Vanderbilt did from the six yard-line while trailing Georgia 10-7 in the first quarter. After taking the snap kicker Corey Spear took a handoff and cut upfield behind a huge hole on the right side of the line for a touchdown.
It looked like a simple power run. Except it was the kicker, and not a running back. And it was beautiful. Spear subsequently added the PAT to his own touchdown for a 14-10 lead.
