Rockets fall to Lakers as Dwight Howard struggles at the line

The action that unfolded at Toyota Center was definitely not what most people expected when the Houston Rockets met the Los Angeles Lakers for the first time this season. Dwight Howard was clearly the focus and he won his matchup with Pau Gasol decidedly, holding Gasol to 1-for-10 from the floor, while posting 14 points and 14 rebounds, but his free throw shooting was a huge issue, going just 5-for-12 in the fourth quarter as the Lakers got a game-winning three-pointer from Steve Blake to beat Houston, 99-98.
