Red Sox reportedly discussing 5-year/$80-90 million deal with Sandoval

CSNNE.com’s Red Sox Insider Sean McAdam joined Trenni Kusnierek on SNC Early Edition to discuss the reports that the Red Sox are discussing a deal with Sandoval. McAdam explained that it would be foolish for either party to sign now. Both the Sox and Sandoval should shop around and explore all options before settling.

McAdam also addressed the Jon Lester's visit to the Atlanta Braves, and explained that the Chicago Cubs are the Red Sox' biggest competition to sign Jon Lester.
