The Cowboys have finally started to negotiate a new contract with QB Tony Romo, but Mike Florio says the team first needs to determine how much the QB is worth. While the final number will come down to a simple mathematical formula, between Romo’s 2013 cap number and the cost to franchise him in 2014 and 2015, the jumping off point comes in at just over $61 million.
