Mad Dash: Curry tops LeBron for another NBA achievement

How do we know Stephen Curry has truly arrived? While the NBA title and MVP award are certainly the most important factors, he's added one more notch to his belt: Curry now leads the league in jersey sales. Who did he top to take the No. 1 spot for the first time? The man he and his teammates beat for the title — LeBron James. The feat was made all the more impressive when you consider that jersey sales spikes usually follow a player changing teams, and fans subsequently flocking to get the new look. But Curry's had the same number and team since Golden State drafted him in 2009. The Cleveland Cavaliers are still doing pretty well, popularity-wise, as James is second on the list and Kyrie Irving is fourth. Chicago's Derrick Rose took third. As the AP article noted, it's the icing on quite a season for Curry.

The league based the rankings on overall sales on NBAStore.com from April through June.

The latest figures cap Curry's incredible year. He led the Warriors to a franchise-record 67 wins - plus 16 more in the playoffs - and their first championship in 40 years.

Curry was the leading vote-getter for the All-Star teams, won the 3-point contest and took home NBA MVP honors.

Riley Curry didn't make the rankings this time, but we're optimistic about her chances. She has an official jersey, right? If not, she should.

Pittsburgh Steelers defender James Harrison is one of the scariest guys in the NFL, and few play the game right on the edge quite like him. So everytime he puts out a crazy offseason workout video, we're hardly surprised. But this latest one may top them all. Harrison posted a video to Instagram of him running sprints in a weight vest under a sweatsuit, on a 106-degree day in Arizona, on a 190-degree field. That's beyond dangerous, definitely crazy, and we won't be trying it anytime soon.

Auburn and Oregon will meet in 2019 at AT&T Stadium in what will be a rematch of the 2011 BCS title game. As soon as the news broke, the Tigers were happy to remind the Ducks what happened the last time around. And while we have to give props to Auburn for twisting the knife, we're having trouble getting amped for a game that won't even include this fall's freshmen.
