Is there reason to worry about the Red Sox?

The Red Sox shouldn't be worried about record, but the amount of injuries piling up

The Red Sox are off to a 5-8 record early in the season. It’s a small sample size, but is it time to worry about the reigning champs?

Steve Buckley and Dan Shaughnessy join Sports Tonight to give their take.

"No, they haven't played ten percent of the season yet," says Shaughnessy. "All the bad stuff has happened at the same time. Very uncharacteristic, it never happened last year. Now they have to learn to deal with it."

Buckley believes the record isn't what the Red Sox should be worried about right now, but rather they should be more concerned with the injury bug making its rounds.

"Wins and losses don't really keep me up at night in April, injuries do." said Buckley. "Pedroia's injury is something to keep an eye on. Uehara, we worried about that coming into the season. Middlebrooks, Ortiz with the calf, Victorino hasn't played a game yet. These are things to be concerned about."
