Coming into the Eastern Conference finals, the Chicago Bulls were expected to be the more workmanlike team, with the Miami Heat providing the bulk of the best plays, even in their losses. However, in a 103-82 win at the United Center, the Bulls owned both the highlight reels and the box score.

Surprisingly, no player had a flashier night than reserve forward Taj Gibson, a second-year player best known for his defense and rebounding. Just one minute into the second quarter, Gibson took a pass from C.J. Watson on a 3-on-1 fast break and unloaded a two-hand jam right on Dwyane Wade. This dunk helped set the tone for the rest of the game: The Bulls were significantly stronger, faster, tougher and more precise for the final three quarters.

It was even exciting enough to get TNT announcer Reggie Miller to grab his colleague Steve Kerr, who quickly asked Miller to stop it. It turns out that announcers can act like excited kids sometimes, too.

But Gibson wasn't done. With 38 seconds left in the game and the result well-established, Gibson followed up an errant Watson 3-point attempt with an athletic tomahawk off the rebound. Check it out after the jump.

This play put an exclamation point on a fantastic performance for Gibson and the Bulls as a whole. Gibson may not pull off any plays this exciting for the rest of the playoffs, but, for one night, he had everyone talking. We can only guess if any Bulls fans followed Miller's lead and jumped onto their friends.
