Julianna Pena vs. Jessica Andrade set for UFC 171
Fresh off her TUF 18 title win, Julianna Pena has been booked against Brazilian prospect Jessica Andrade for UFC 171 on March 15. The Dallas card is headlined by a fight between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler fighting one another for the vacant UFC welterweight championship.
The 22 year-old Andrade is coming off a brutal win over Rosi Sexton in October and won three out of her four 2013 fights. She is 10-3 overall.
Pena last fought and won in November at the TUF 18 finale with a TKO over Jessica Rakoczy. Pena steamrolled through her season of TUF after losing two fights in a row.
The two female bantamweights both fight with aggressive, in-your-face styles. Their March match up will likely allow one woman to push forward in the division and establish herself in the UFC.
