Massive hit in Georgia game sends quarterback into complete flip

Warner Robbins (Ga.) Northside High was facing off against Macon (Ga.) Westside High near the end of the third quarter when Westside quarterback DeQavius Walker attempted to scramble to the right. He had to make a play -- his team was trailing 21-14 -- and it looked like he might have even found pay dirt.

Instead, he found one of the biggest hits of the year.

The hard-charging defensive back who delivered that monster takedown was Northside star Devonte Taylor, who is known as much for his prowess in catching footballs as he is for dropped opponents with hits. Still, Taylor's tackle on this play was so forceful that it completely took the legs out from under Walker, sending him flipping up and over.

It also got the ball back for Northside and set the stage for a touchdown drive that all but clinched the game, with Northside holding on for a 28-21 victory from there.

While Taylor's hit is otherworldly, the reaction from the stands might be even better. As USA Today noted, it's hard not to jump out of one's seat when you see Walker sent head over heels.
