Nick Jonas wasn't kidding when he said he loves his gay fans.

The youngest of the Jonas Brothers, who's been focusing on a solo music career these days, showed up to promote his new song, "Jealous," at club BPM's Gay College Tuesdays night in New York City.

After his performance, Nick was encouraged by the crowd to strip. Though the fresh-faced pop star didn't take it all off, he played along and did more of a striptease, unbuttoning his shirt while moving seductively to the delight of clubgoers.

The hunky singer has been bulking up lately for his role in the new martial arts-themed original series Kingdom (which premieres Oct. 8 on Audience Network). He might as well put those guns and toned abs to good use after all!

Eager fans captured some video of Nick inside the club hanging out before his performance. He mingled with many of them throughout the night. However, it wasn't Nick's first gay club appearance this week. On Sunday night, he also showed off his goods at promoter Brandon Voss and Kenny Kenny's new Up & Down Sundays party, as captured below here.

"By the way, I'm single and very wealthy," the drag queen host joked.

Could Nick be following the old Sex and the City adage on fame as he embarks on his solo career?

"First come the gays, then the girls, then the industry," PR guru Samantha Jones (played by Kim Catrall) explained to her boyfriend Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis) as he was trying to break into the biz in the sixth season of the hit HBO show.

Looks like Nick got the memo. On Monday, he tweeted the following:

But sorry guys (and gals)… Nick's not single. He's been dating his former 2012 Miss USA girlfriend Olivia Culpo for over a year now. In fact, he told Ryan Seacrest recently that he wrote "Jealous" about seeing other guys looking at her.

"I feel like the biggest lesson I've learned as it relates to love and relationships is that full transparency is necessary to have a healthy relationship," Nick explained. "I feel like men don't really address it. But this song gives the opportunity to have fun, vibe out, and also talk about this thing that a lot of people don't talk about."

It's a sentiment he elaborated on to MTV News. "I'm with my girl and [some other guys are] looking at her and I was like, I've just been training for three months how to be a real fighter for a TV show and I could hurt you now. It was a moment when I was like, 'I've got to write about that because the fact that I got so passionate about it so quickly means that there is a song there.'"

Nick's debut self-titled solo album is due out Nov. 11. You can catch him performing "Jealous" on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday and the Today show on Friday morning.

If we're lucky, maybe he'll do another strip tease.
