Carl Edwards surges to victory in Coca-Cola 600

Check out the final lap of from the 2015 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, as Carl Edwards is able to claim his first win in 31 races.

Sixteen drivers will advance to the Chase. Any driver with a win while also ranking in the top 30 in points and having attempted to qualify for every race (unless granted a NASCAR waiver) will make the Chase. If the points leader does not have a win, they’ll make the Chase. If there are more than 16 different winners, ties will be broken by number of wins and then points.

Carl Edwards’ victory in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 was his first of the season and put him in a Chase spot, knocking out Clint Bowyer. Edwards marked the ninth different winner this season, leaving seven Chase spots open based on points.
