Zach LaVine enters health and safety protocols, to miss Game 5 vs. Bucks

The Chicago Bulls take a huge hit to their chances to avoid elimination in Wednesday’s Game 5.

Bulls PR announced on Tuesday that All-Star Zach LaVine has entered health and safety protocols and will likely miss Wednesday’s Game 5.

This doesn’t immediately eliminate LaVine’s chances to play in Game 5, but he’ll need to test negative during follow-up testing in order to be able to play in Chicago’s elimination game.

Through four games during this first round series, LaVine is averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game while shooting 37.5% from 3-point range.
