New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 2 game

The New York Giants (0-1) travel west to seek redemption in a game against the Arizona Cardinals (0-1) at State Farm Stadium.

Brian Daboll and Co. were humiliated 40-0 on their own turf in the season opener against NFC East rival the Dallas Cowboys.

A Kyler Murray-less Cardinals team lost on the road to the Washington Commanders, albeit they put up a bit more of a fight than their Week 2 opponent with a final score of 20-16.

The two teams haven't faced off since 2020 when the Cardinals beat the Giants 26-7 in New Jersey with playoff hopes on the line. The game snapped New York's four-game winning streak and Arizona's streak of three losses. Murray had one touchdown, but linebacker Haason Reddick (who is now on the Philadelphia Eagles) stole the show with five sacks and three forced fumbles.

Will the Cardinals defense be able to stronghold the Giants? Or will Daniel Jones come to life?

Lorenzo Reyes: Giants 21, Cardinals 10

The Cardinals offense failed to score a touchdown and lacked explosion at every phase. New York had the absolute worst showing of any team. But the Giants have the better roster, the better coach and should be extremely motivated to send a message that Week 1 was an aberration.

Tyler Dragon: Giants 20, Cardinals 17

The Giants were shut out and turn the ball over three times in a disastrous season opener. Luckily for Big Blue, arguably the worst team in the NFL is next on the schedule. Arizona proved to be a feisty bunch against the Commanders, but the Giants should notch their first win of the young season.

Victoria Hernandez: Giants 17, Cardinals 10

Daniel Jones is not going to let himself be embarrassed again. The Cardinals showed impressive signs of life in the first half against the Commanders, but won't have enough pieces together to get a win over the hungry Giants.

Jordan Mendoza: Giants 20, Cardinals 12

The Giants were embarrassed on all levels against the Cowboys. Luckily, they get a shot at one of the worst teams in the league. The offense won’t look amazing, but it will look a whole lot better in a win over Arizona.
