The Tar Heel pitching staff held the Raiders to one hit Saturday afternoon at Bob Warn Field in Terre Haute, Indiana.

WSU’s best scoring chance came in the fifth.

They were down 1-0 when Sammy Sass led it off with a single and Julian Greenwell’s potential two-run homer was robbed by Casey Cook at the right field wall. The Raiders had runners reach second base with two outs in both the sixth and seventh innings but could not score.

North Carolina put the game away with a three-run homer by Mac Horvath in the seventh inning.

Wright State ends the 2022-23 season with a 39-33 record.
