EFL League Two's most popular team is back in the fourth round of the FA Cup for a second straight season.

Wrexham A.F.C. is set to face Blackburn Rovers on Monday in the second-to-last round before the quarterfinals of English football's biggest tournament. The Welsh club upset Shrewsbury Town from EFL League One in the third round three weeks ago, 1-0, to advance to this point. Blackburn defeated League One club Cambridge United, 5-2, in their third round match.

During the 2022-23 tournament, Wrexham A.F.C. was the only team in the National League – the fifth tier of English football league system – to advance as far as the fourth round. They lost to then-EFL Championship team Sheffield United (now in the Premier League) in a replay. Now, Wrexham is in EFL League Two after winning a promotion last season and will look to redeem themselves when they take on another EFL Championship team in the fourth round.
