General admission passes for Day 3 of the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale on Saturday, Feb. 10, are officially sold out, tournament chairman George Thimsen announced Friday morning.

The WM Phoenix Open has put a cap on tickets for traditionally the biggest day of tournament week, the day of the third round.  While Saturday tickets are no longer available online or at the gate, general admission tickets for all other days are still available online at the WM Phoenix open website.

"Creating an exceptional fan experience is our top priority at the WM Phoenix Open and our dedication to elevating the quality of the fan journey guides every decision," Thimsen said in a statement with the announcement of the sellout.

"In pursuit of ensuring a great fan-first experience for our community, we have strategically chosen to put a cap on attendance for Saturday. Our community is what makes 'The People’s Open' so special and a high demand event. With this demand, we are prioritizing the right atmosphere for our guests."

It's set to be another Saturday at the Open teeming with golf fans and revelers there for the atmosphere. And the chance of rain in the Phoenix area is expected to be low by Saturday, when high temperatures in Scottsdale are expected to reach the mid-60s.

The tournament starts Monday with practice rounds for PGA Tour pros that continue into Tuesday. Fans are admitted free courtesy of Ford for the first two days.

Wednesday is the Annexus Pro-Am featuring celebrities, and the PGA event runs Thursday through Sunday.
